Thymosin B-4 is a naturally occurring peptide that promotes angiogenesis and activates fibroblasts, playing a role in hormonal regulation. It also demonstrates immunomodulatory and cardioprotective properties. In vivo studies show that Thymosin β-4 enhances wound healing associated with cardiac conditions and supports improved cardiac function. Additionally, it binds to G-actin, inhibiting actin polymerization.
